How are you these days? Are the spring vibes already entering your veins? Here, in the Netherlands, spring is starting and boy -- how happy are the people here when they start feeling the sun on their skin again. ☀️
In the Netherlands there is a lot happening at the moment, there is a new goverment starting to run the show, Europe wants to stand united against empires like Russia, China and also they'd like to be greater competitors on the world playing field and be seen as equals with the names above and also the U.S.A. In one way i think it is a beautiful thought to stand strong and united as ONE Europe, to work together, to grow together and to live like: "one for all, and all for one!".
At the same time new laws and changes are being announced, people should work longer in there life, until their 72th life year, medical care becomes more expensive for the people and for the people who decided to save their money for a rainy day through investing, real estate or other options — the goverment is heading for taxing your unrealised gains starting at 1 january of 2028, taxing unrealised gains each year. So eventhough you haven't sold anything yet, eventhough you don't want to sell your investments, eventhough you don't have the money in your hands or in your bank account, each year the goverment wants to tax your savings and investments with 36% on your gains. The highest rate of the world, and also the only system in the world where they do not tax after selling (realised gains), but each year when your profits aren’t realised yet.
Many people don't understand this clearly. But when you research this a bit more and get clarity on this... This is insane, it's thiefery in my opinion, and if this direction will be the reality, then the Dutch citizens won't have the oppurtunity/possibility anymore to invest for their future, because the goverment believes that their growing expenses are more important then your sense of freedom and your individual future.
The reason i'm writing about this this month, is because it has been in my mind for weeks now.. I'm someone who is working hard on creating financial freedom and educating people how to create happiness, health and wealth in their lives. And government plans like this are gone too far like this... And it is worth thinking about it, worth talking about it and it is important for people to become aware and to question things.. =) And ofcourse taxes are needed in a way, to live in a great country like the Netherlands.. But the coming box 3 taxes are out of alignment with the freedom of the people.

For a long time I wasn't very interested in how governments lead their country, how they represent the people and they plan to make our lives better and speak for our needs. Lately, I've become more and more interested in the world theatre, people like Trump who do what they want, who say they go left and turn right, and do this a 100 times. Also in the Netherlands I've noticed that the government says they go left a 100 times, and after a while they just go right again.. And inside the news, on television, the newspapers, do you really see the objective truth? I'm curious what have you seen/read?
On twitter/X, on youtube, there are many many people and podcasts, who are open minded, who dare to question things, question the people who lead us, who question the way we live, who are courageous enough to think in new ways with the intention of creating a good life for themselves and our good people. Normally I write about how happy and easy life should be, but there is also a lot of turbulence and conflict in the world, and countries are moving now quicker than ever. Ofcourse, I believe that all will be good, and eventhough there is a lot of turbulence in the external world, we can always find the good that is already here and now. <3 Still, I think it is important to question reality, to grow your awareness, and not just silently accept anything that is being told.
